Doodle Stitching Embroidery Art modern needlework hand embroidery art book by Aimee Ray
Welcome to my ninth Doodle Stitching hand embroidery book! I'm so excited to share it with you. This book is different than any other book I've written, the idea for it has been percolating in my head for years. While it still includes basic hand embroidery instructions, lots of patterns and stitch guides perfect for new embroiderers, this book is really all about taking what you learn and creating YOUR own unique art with embroidery.
The projects and techniques range from thread painting, freestyle stitching, stitch-a-day journal, embroidering kid's art and photos, crayon tinting and more. Plus a library of all new embroidery motifs to use for all of your stitching projects!
Each one comes signed! Don't miss out on this opportunity to get your copy direct from me, the author. :)

This slender book moves beyond basic embroidery instructions and presents many creative ideas using needle and thread. I am looking forward to trying the ‘flat lay canvas’ technique soon. The illustrations are in color so the stitches are simple to follow and there are numerous line-drawn patterns as encouragement to start your own creative journey.
I slipped the book into my carry-on bag and enjoyed reading it during my travels.
Well worth the investment.
